Behind the Screens: We sit down with Sarah
Sarah is the newest member of Altitude and she joined us as Outreach Officer back in June. As the newest member of the team, we have asked her to tell us a bit about herself and to look back on her first six weeks at the Foundation.
Find out what she had to say below!

What’s been the thing you’ve enjoyed most about your first 6 weeks at Altitude?
It’s been great to get involved in the work experience weeks and get hands-on with lots of different types of technology, such as the visit to the National Innovation Center for Aging (NICA) where we got to meet some service robots and got to see how NICA do product testing of innovative technology.
What’s one key tip you would give to someone thinking about starting a career in digital and tech?
There are many different pathways into a tech career. I didn’t take a traditional route into tech, having come at it from a biological sciences background. But tech is everywhere and can be used to innovate almost anything. So don’t stress about your background or what subjects you are studying, there will be a pathway into tech if that’s what you’re passionate about.
What do you do when you’re not at work?
You’ll probably find me on an outdoor adventure somewhere with my dog.
